It's so satisfying to begin with a mental image and have this drawn up in a digital space and see it come to life in front of you. We will use real world dimensions to ensure every inch is used wisely and everything fits where it needs to- using CAD rendering to get the design details dialed. Renderings vary in level of detail based on each clients needs.

We'll learn about your build and intended use- then design a detailed system that will keep up. We'll discuss the various approaches to providing the necessary electrical supply for your build. All of our clients work through a thorough design phase to optimize their vision for their new rig. You'll receive a detailed proposal in addition to a 3D rendering of your build- then the real fun starts. Maker Vans does what it does best and crafts your living space, ready for years of exploration.
Our builds are detail oriented and full featured and as such they cannot be rushed. Our builds typically spend 10-14 weeks in the shop and we only focus on a single full build project at a time. More info about our current schedule/availability and pricing can be found in our FAQs.

If you need the knowledge or the tools, we have both. We can spend the day wiring, or insulating or any the the other tasks involved in your build. Afterwards, you'll be able to take over and finish things up knowing what details matter most and how to stay safe and cost effective through the rest of the process.

We'll start by figuring out what you need to power, how much sun exposure you'll have where you're traveling and how long you want to go without plugging in. We'll get both your AC and DC systems designed and wired up in a form that fits your budget.
